Susan Boyle has beaten out wedding dancers, vampires, and dancing babies to top the list of the Most Watched YouTube Videos for 2009.
YouTube.com unveiled a list of its Most Watched Videos of the Year on Tuesday, and the Scottish singer, who rose to fame as a dowdy contestant on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year — topped the ranking.
Susan’s rendition of “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical Les Miserables netted more than 120 million views since its debut on British TV last February.
“David After Dentist,” a nearly two-minute clip of a child recovering in the back seat of his dad’s car following a trip to the tooth doctor, netted 37 million views. “JK Wedding Entrance Dance,” which saw an entire wedding party dance down the aisle to Chris Brown’s “Forever,” placed third worldwide on the Most Watched list with 33 million views.
Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me” and Miley Cyrus’ “The Climb” were among the Most Watched Music Videos of 2009.
