So much for those split rumors. Two days after E! News reported that Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick had called it quits, the pair went shopping together in Los Angeles Wednesday.Their errand: a party supply store in L.A., where the 28-year-old pop star purchased a tiara, which she quickly put on her head.
A source explained to UsMagazine that Spears and agent Trawick are "on and off," and spent the weekend together despite the breakup chatter.
The couple has been an item since mid-2009, as Spears bounced back from a tough 2008. "Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney's life," a source said. "He's very protective of her."
