Edison Chen reveals comeback plans
Singer-actor Edison Chen is slowly inching his way back into showbiz after his 2008 sex photo scandal which rocked Asia.
The star, who took to the catwalk at a fashion show in Taiwan on Wednesday, revealed that he will start recording his new album at the end of the month.
The album will not focus too much on love songs but rather his thoughts and feelings over the past few years, he said.
Apart from a new album, Chen, 29, also has a film project lined up.
He told reporters he will co-produce a movie with an American production company at the end of the year.
"I feel that this is a very big challenge, I hope everyone will support me," he said, adding that he intends to spend more time in Taiwan when he is done with his album.
Canadian-born Chen announced in February 2008 that he was leaving the entertainment industry indefinitely after photos of him having sex with women including Hong Kong actresses Cecilia Cheung, Gillian Chung and Bobo Chan emerged.
Chung, one half of Canto-pop duo Twins, made her comeback in March last year and even landed a starring role in a stage adaptation of Neil Simon's "I Ought To Be In Pictures", while Chen co-starred in an American independent film "Almost Perfect" in October.
