Show "Xiao Zhu [Little Pig]" Lo's newest album had championed the charts for 10 consecutive weeks, but there was a netizen that crudely criticized that Show's songs aren't even listenable, which started a heated discussion between the netizen and fans. On the 7th, Show attended an endorsement event, and when he heard about it, he just smiled and laughed expressing that it didn't matter because it's impossible for everyone to like him.Show's "Lover's Puzzle (Rashomon)" album held the #1 spot on the charts for 10 consecutive weeks, and will be holding concerts at the Taipei Arena in May, but on the web, there started a heated discussion. There was a netizen that had expressed on a certain music forum, and left a post saying "Show Lo's Music Isn't Even Listenable!" The post expressed, "Please, Show Lo isn't even singing material! His voice is weak and thin, he can't hit high notes nor low notes, no power/charisma whatsoever. Being hard working is one thing, but having talent is another. Don't swank anymore, recognize the fact, don't lie to yourself, you aimless/blind bunch!"
This post started a heated discussion at that forum, Show's fans, to protect him, not only scolded/criticized the thread starter for being weak, only aimlessly criticizing. Some fans also expressed that that person just wanted to get attention so started at thread that would start a discussion. There were also some that expressed they weren't Show's fans, but believe that Show is an artist that works hard to uphold himself.
When Show attended the endorsement event, he learned about the heated web discussion, and expressed that he knows not everyone will like him. With regards to these comments of belittling criticism, he felt it doesn't really matter, he doesn't mind. The media then asked what he would mind being criticized for? Show said if they criticized/scolded his family, he will feel really angry, but if it's just attacking him, then he doesn't mind.
Though Show was criticized by netizens, but besides having a great album sales record, he has also gotten 5 more commercial endorsements this year, and will soon be stepping onto the Taipei Arena once again next month, it's obvious that Show's popularity is still unyielding. However when Show heard that he was being criticized and expressed his indifference, he asked the reporters which site it was on, and said he might anonymously chat with that netizen, and hopefully change his opinion. Even though Show is the king of popularity, he still cares about netizens' opinions.
