Last week, the Shanghai expo received guests from both Taiwan and Mainland China to act as a delegation visiting both the Taiwan and China exhibits. Eddie Peng, along with the lead actress of "Hear Me," Michelle Chen and director Zheng Fen joined together as a team and visited the England and Greek exhibitions, avoiding the Taiwan exhibition that good friend Jolin sang the theme song for. Whether not visiting the Taiwan exhibit was to avoid arousing suspicious, he hurriedly changed the subject by saying, "Seeing the England and Greek exhibitions allowed me to better understand local cultures and conditions. Regarding Double J's dance together, he laughed and said, "I saw the news" and further commented that Jolin maintained utter secrecy and he was completely oblivious to the event until it happened. After seeing the news he felt Double J performed really well. A few days ago, "Hear Me" was selected as a film launching a bilateral (Taiwan and Mainland) cooperation. At the scene, top party member of the People's Liberation Army, stated that the film, "made full use of China's ethics" and praised the parent-child (successive generation) relationships within the show, excitedly hugging him.
Speaking of being male lead; Putting off a role and not acting
After moving up to be become part of the movie class, Eddie Peng no longer accepts idol dramas. The male lead of SETTV's upcoming drama, "Zhong Wu Yan" was originally created for him, but due to his movie theater schedule and refused it. Once, the film supervisor of SETTV's very popular Ethan Ruan, Chen Yu Shan, invited him for a new drama. Supposedly, the male lead was meant to be Jerry Yan, and he (Eddie Peng) did not accept because he was the second lead. Yesterday, through his representative at Avex record company, he said, "I had to refuse because the dates of filming the drama coincided with the dates of my upcoming movie."
Chen Yu Shan's new drama refers to the subject of Marie Antoinette, a tremendous project that supposedly will take place in France. Jerry Yan had already received the screenplay late last year, and there is currently a rapid search for a lead actress in the same rank as actresses like Shu Qi. Eddie Peng picks shows very carefully, and supposedly when he filmed Director Lin Yu Xian's movie "Fan Gun Ba A Xin," his supervision of the filming was intense.
