God bless Lady Gaga! Outrageous singer wears Yankees shirt over bra and knickers for baseball match
She has never been one to fade into the background.
And, just eight days after wearing a studded bra and knickers to a baseball game, Lady Gaga arrived to watch the New York Yankees take on the New York Mets wearing little more than a black underwear set and a Yankees shirt.
The 24-year-old singer even adjusted her shirt so it showed off more of her cleavage as she stood for a rendition of God Bless America.
With her hand patriotically placed on her chest, Gaga managed to keep a straight face as she stood with her black bra clearly on display.
But her friends weren't as successful, and failed to stop giggling as they watched the Alejandro singer with astonishment.
At one point in the match Gaga, who has been attending Yankees games with her father since she was little, appeared to be performing the YMCA - bending her arms into the letters as she stood in her VIP balcony.
Before the game, Gaga told fans she was looking forward to relaxing with friends at Yankee Stadium.
She tweeted: 'I just kicked my ass in the gym, time to wash it down with an ice cold NY beer.'
And despite the Yankees losing to the Mets 4-0, Gaga appeared to have enjoyed her day off, smiling throughout the match and even posing for photographs with fans.
Gaga's appearance at the game comes just eight days after she caused controversy while attending a New York Mets vs the San Diego Padres game.
Despite wearing a studded bra and knickers combination to the game, it appeared Gaga had hoped she would somehow blend into the crowd.
On noticing a sports photographer turn her way, her good mood soured and she gave him the finger.
After the match, Gaga tweeted somewhat cryptically: 'A middle finger is more New York than a corporate ambush. I bleed for my hometown, and I'd die for my fans.'
