Fan Bingbing May Star in Kang Je Gyu’s Hollywood Debut Movie with Jang Dong Gun

Chinese actress Fan Bingbing has been offered for playing a role in South Korean director Kang Je Gyu’s Hollywood debut movie ‘My Way’, according to the film’s producer on Wednesday. She is currently considering the project and has yet to confirm anything.
The blockbuster movie ‘My Way’ starring top Korean actor Jang Dong Gun and Japanese star Joe Odagiri, plots a Korean soldier who was forced to join the Japanese army and later they must fight along with German Nazi soldier against allied forces during World War II.
If Fan accepts the role, she will play the Chinese woman who helps Jang’s character in the movie. Besides her, there are several other famous Chinese actresses who are being considered for the role, including Tang Wei and Zhang Ziyi.
Fan who is also a Mandoopop singer, rose to stardom for her role as Jin Suo in the TV sitcom ‘Princess Pearl’ in 1998. She has played in Chinese films ‘Contract Love’ (2007), ‘Fuse, Flash Point’ (2007), ‘Bodyguards and Assassins’ (2009) and ‘Just Another Pandora’s Box’ (2010).
