Hilary Duff to Star in Spider-Man Reboot?

HILARY Duff is in talks to star in a movie that people might actually watch!The actress — whose films usually go straight to DVD — is in the running for a role in the Spider-Man reboot.
Duff was seen with a script entitled ‘Spider-Man’ with a character called ‘Girl’ highlighted, according to Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail.
However, it has previously been claimed the new movie — which sees British actor Andrew Garfield take on the role of Peter Parker, previously played by Tobey Maguire – would not feature Mary Jane Watson, the lead female previously portrayed by Kirsten Dunst.
Duff — who is currently working on The Story of Bonnie and Clyde alongside Thora Birch, which is due for release later this year — has a number of movies rumored to be coming up in 2011, including Dolphin’s Tale and The Gift Horse.
