Charlene Choi and boyfriend William Chan have birthdays one day apart (November 21 & 22) but because of work, William was unable to spend time to celebrate Charlene's birthday on the actual date. However after finishing work in Chengdu, William rushed back to Hong Kong to celebrate his girlfriend's 28th birthday. Even though they have been followed by media all along, their relationship has not been overly exposed. Right at midnight, William sent his birthday wishes on Weibo microblogging. Even though it was only a simple line: "@Charlene Choi happy birthday to YOU ; )", it caused Charlene to generously reply on Weibo: "Thanks ... Love." Being able to risk everything to naturally be in love, this time for Ah Sa truly is brave to love. Yet without having her boyfriend accompany her for her special day, Ah Sa chose to spend it with friends. The night before, Ah Sa first cheered on good friend Joey Yung's concert and received the entire concert hall's cheers and birthday song, as well as a birthday dinner and cake with friends.On Charlene's Weibo, she expressed her birthday thoughts, saying: "Grateful thanks to all good friends and fans' blessings .. I'm 28 years old now .. thank you God for letting me healthily live 28 years .. thank you God for giving me 28 years of uneven life .. thank you God for continuously testing me in these 28 years .. letting me strongly grow and mature! My birthday wish is for all the people I love and the people who love me to be healthy, blessed and happy! I'm not someone who cries easily .. from yesterday I've started crying because of good friends .. until today waking up and crying because of our cool oranges (Charlene's nickname for her fans). After rushing back to Hong Kong, on Charlene 23, Charlene and William were spotted leaving a karaoke restaurant after holding a birthday party with good friends Sherman Chung, Kenny Kwan, Yumiko Chow, Niki Chow, Deep Ng. At the birthday party, William reportedly presented Charlene with a cake full of birthday candles. Touched by the gesture, with a sweet smile, Ah Sa gave William a light birthday kiss. As a birthday present, knowing Charlene loves to bike, William gave Charlene a one-of-a-kind bike valued at near 10 000 HKD, hoping she can exercise more for good health. Before Charlene returns to Mainland for filming, William hopes they can romantically go biking together. The two were spotted leaving the karaoke restaurant in a vehicle together at 3am, both in happy spirits waving to reporters. After dropping Charlene off at her home, William returned home himself.
