Emma Watson's New York fashion show: Harry Potter star brings her sweet style to the Big Apple
In a town famed for its amazing fashion houses and cutting edge looks, Emma Watson is standing out as an up-and-coming style maven.
The 20-year-old has displayed a variety of outfits while promoting Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in the New York this week, and it's clear she is developing an increasingly individual and eclectic fashion sense.
She stepped out in yesterday wearing a very stylish Burberry trench coat with studded sleeves.
And while the Harry Potter star changed her dress twice in a matter of hours for various TV appearances - a grey Carven number with a Peter Pan collar for the Today show a and a green frock for Live with Regis & Kelly - she kept the overcoat on as she darted around town.
She later changed into a striped jumper, simple black trousers and ballet pumps for a flight out of New York's La Guardia Airport this afternoon.
During her whistle-stop stay in New York, Emma was also spotted wore a very unusual thigh-skimming ink blot mini-dress by Dion Lee that showed off her gamine figure to perfection.
And the Rorsache test-inspired design, which she wore to lunch yesterday, showed that the Harry Potter star isn't afraid to play with unusual and untraditional looks.
She wore a slinky Calvin Klein dress for the red carpet premiere and earlier wore a red and black sparkly dress for a taping of the David Letterman show.
It looks like the 20-year-old is developing a real passion for fashion - she recently revealed that she will be collaborating with design house Alberta Ferretti.
With an established line for People Tree already to her name, this will be her second design venture.
Emma says ‘She [Alberta] wrote to me and said, "I saw what you did with People Tree and I think it’s a great idea and will you do something with me?"'
During her appearance on Live With Regis & Kelly she joked that she is engaged to her Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint - and that they are going to have a brood of ginger-haired kids.
And she was asked if she ever had a crush on either Grint, who plays Ron Heasley, or Daniel Radcliffe.
Presenter Regis Philbin said: 'During the 10 years that you worked together with Daniel Radcliffe and The Grint, did you ever develop a fondness for either one of them?'
Emma said: 'A crush? Regis, you have honestly asked me this question every time [I was on the show] since I was 10.
'OK fine, we're getting married, and we're going to have little ginger-haired kids, and we're going to live in a beautiful house. And we're very in love.'
The star - who has played Hermione Granger in the movies for a decade - then moved a ring onto her engagement finger.
She added: 'Hang on, wait. This is my engagement ring. Isn't it beautiful?'
Regis asked: 'But who is it from The Grint, or Radcliffe?'
She replied: 'This is from The Grint, come on.'
Emma, who is studying at America's Brown University, also told how she was enjoying being at college after opting for an education in the States, rather than at Cambridge.
She said: 'I absolutely love it. I love my professors, I love my classes, I love waking up at 10am. I chose to come here [because] I really love the American attitude to education, it's just much broader.
"I just wanted an adventure.'
Co-host Kelly Ripa said: 'And you knew that with your English accent you would sound like the smartest person in class.'
She said: 'It's weird. People have said that, "I hate you, your IQ, you just add 10 points every time you open your mouth just because of your accent."
She also revealed she had chosen to major in history, saying it was her 'great passion'.
