Zoe Saldana: ‘Sex Scene Was Cut From Avatar’

ZOE Saldana has revealed that a sex scene was shot for Avatar — but was axed from the final movie.The actress — who plays the character of Neytiri in the record-breaking James Cameron flick — says the steamy session was between her Na’vi character and lead Sam Worthington.
“If you sync to your banshee and you’re syncing to a tree, why not sync into a person?” she said. “I almost feel like you’ll have the most amazing orgasm, I guess.
“It was a very funny scene to shoot because there were so many technical things that sometimes you have to keep in mind that paying attention to all those might disrupt the fluidity of how a scene is supposed to take place.”
Cameron cut the scene, which will be included on the DVD, to protect his PG-13 rating.
Zoe recently revealed that she’s freaked out by her Avatar action figure.
“Dolls are the weirdest piece of movie merchandise I have seen my face on so far,” she said. “There is just something really surreal and spooky about seeing your own face on a doll.
“I hope no one buys it to stick pins in it. I always look at them and going, ‘That doesn’t look like me’.”
