MOVIE hunk Robert Pattinson says his new film is worth watching — because it’s full of sex!The Twilight actor stars opposite Uma Thurman in Bel Ami and admits the flick features several explicit scenes.
“There’s a lot of sex in Bel Ami,” R-Patz told MTV.
“It is like the complete antithesis of what you normally think period dramas are about.
“In Paris, everybody was just going nuts. It was like the 1980s. Sex was kind of a weapon and a tool, and it’s odd… There’s something very mercenary about it in a lot of ways.”
Although he’s considered one of the world’s sexiest men, Rob, 23, has previously insisted he doesn’t see himself as a heartthrob.
“I’m so surprised things have actually worked out the way they have,” he said in an interview last year, adding that he’s not worried about being typecast as a love interest. “I am just thinking the whole time: ‘I don’t really have the right personality to fit into that kind of role’.
“I’m not really afraid of it though because I don’t really know how to play up that aspect of it. I don’t know if I could ever really be cast in a heartthrob role really — apart from Twilight, which I didn’t really know was a heartthrob role. I really don’t feel I am one.”
