Google has finally announced Android 2.2 Froyo (in the second day of its I/O conference).
Google is presenting the features of Android 2.2 as we speak, but some of them have already been unveiled.
Android 2.2 Froyo comes with Adobe Flash 10.1 support, Microsoft Exchange integration, tethering and portable hotspot capabilities, enhanced voice recognition, and a faster web browser – actually, Google goes as far as saying that Froyo has “the world’s fastest mobile browser.”

According to Google, Android 2.2 Froyo “will be made available to OEMs and the open source community in the coming weeks.” Until then, developers can already download the Android 2.2 SDK via the Android Developers website.
I think we might see Android 2.2 devices starting June, when Apple will also launch its new iPhone 4G / HD.
