Super Junior sells over 100K albums for ‘Bona Mana’ in just 8 days
Super Junior is reported to have sold over 100K albums in just 8 days into their 4th album release.
According to internet music stores HanTeo chart, the A version has sold 95,359 copies as of 2oth May 11.30am since its release on 13th May. In addition, about 13,047 of the B version of the album released that day, which gives about 108,406 album sales for the group’s 4th album. The only difference between the A and B version albums is that the album jacket is different.
In recent 5 years, having sold over 100K albums for singers is considered ‘daebak’, hence achieving 100K album sales in just 8 days is definitely not an easy feat. The only 2 singers who are able to make the 100K album sales breakthrough this year are only So Nyeo Shi Dae and Super Junior.
The fever for Super Junior’s new album has started even before the album release. They have achieved a total of 198,485 pre-orders for the album before the official release.
Officials in the music industry now have their eyes on whether this comeback 4th album from the group will make the ‘great 300K album sales’ breakthrough. Just last year, the group sold over 250K albums for their 3rd album ‘Sorry Sorry’, winning them the Golden Disk award.
