Motorola Milestone 2 and Defy in live photos. Both are coming to Vodafone

Motorola’s newest Android smartphones made for Europe, the Milestone 2 and the rugged Defy, have been showcased at IFA Berlin at Vodafone’s stand – which means the carrier will launch both device.

The Milestone 2 is, as you should already know, the GSM version of Verizon’s Motorola Droid 2. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo, but, unlike the Droid 2, it also comes with MotoBlur.

Other than that, the Milestone 2 (obviously) features a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.7 inch FQVGA (480 x 854) touchscreen display, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi, 5MP autofocus camera, HD video capture and playback, 1GHz processor, and 8GB of on-board memory.

The Motorola Defy also uses MotoBlur, but it only runs Android 2.1. It’s water and dust resistant (IP67), and features a 3.7 inch FWVGA Gorilla Glass display, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, 5MP autofocus camera, and 2GB of internal memory.

Vodafone will probably introduce the Moto Milestone 2 and Defy in the coming months. Other European carriers should launch the two smartphones as well, although there’s nothing official about this at the moment.
