What a contrast.
Ed Norton looks like he is about to fall asleep on his fresh-faced co-star Milla Jovovich as they posed together at the New York premiere of their new movie, Stone.
The 41-year-old actor appeared red-eyed and tired-looking while Milla, 34, dazzled in an asymmetrical white lace dress.
Perhaps Ed should have reached for a spot of 'man make-up' and some eye drops to perk up his look.
He stars in the movie as Gerald 'Stone' Creeson who is serving time in prison for arson.
With his parole hearing imminent, he tries to manipulate his parole officer Jack Mabrey (Robert De Niro), by playing psychological games and having his wife Lucetta (Milla) seduce Mabrey.
De Niro was unable to make the event last night, held at the Museum of Modern Art, as he is currently filming Manual d’amore 3 in Rome with Monica Bellucci.
To develop his role, Norton actually met with prisoners while preparing to shoot scenes in the Southern Michigan Correctional Facility in Blackman Township.
In a recent interview, Norton said the inmates read the script and came back with 'reams and reams of notes and thoughts'.
'They were just inmates in this prison—it was in Jackson, Michigan. It’s a really big facility, and they have a part that’s been shut down and a part that’s active.
'It was a perfect scenario for us, because we could shoot unencumbered in this closed-down part, but also be very close to the administrators and the prisoners, and we could flow back and forth and talk to people.'
Stone is released in cinemas on Friday in the USA.
