The blogosphere is abuzz with reports that the 41-year-old singer is expecting her first child — a son — with husband Nick Cannon, 30. The notoriously private Carey has remained tight-lipped on rumors that she is harboring an occupied uterus. We now hear, however, that Mariah will confirm her pregnancy sometime in the next two weeks, during the promo tour for her hotly-anticipated holiday album, Merry Christmas II You — dropping Nov. 2 already a smash on Billboard’s new holiday singles chart.
“She’s having a boy, but the reason that Mariah didn’t want to say anything is because she is 40, and she’s superstitious,” whispers a snitch. “But she’s going to appear on Oprah and The View, so she’s planning on making the announcement soon.”
