Lindsay Lohan Wants Rehab Pass to Work on Porn Star Biopic
Lindsay Lohan wants her rehab center to let her get cracking on her next film, a biopic of porn star Linda Lovelace called 'Inferno,' even though she won't be released from the facility until Jan. 3, RadarOnline.com reports.
"Lindsay told me that she is working to get a work pass so that she can get out and meet us to discuss the project," director Matthew Wilder tells Radar. "Obviously, she would probably need some kind of monitor and I think that she feels cooped up sometimes, which is understandable."
In the film, Lohan's character is forced into prostitution by her husband, Chuck Traynor. Lohan spoke about the role on-camera in August.
"Lindsay is happy and I have been sending her some films starring several actors that we would like to cast alongside her in our movie," said Wilder, whose producers hope to start filming as soon as possible. "She just received them, so we are still waiting for her feedback but we really want her to be part of the whole experience even although she is not physically here in Los Angeles."
LiLo hasn't starred in a film since 2007's 'I Know Who Killed Me.' She is currently in a sober living facility -- the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, California -- upon order of the court after violating her probation in a 2007 DUI case.
On Monday, Matt Lauer asked Lindsay's mother Dina, who spent two weeks in family sessions at the clinic, about her daughter's condition. "Happy, relaxed. She's just a different person," Dina answered. "She's been in a couple facilities, but this one, to me, has really changed her. They get into your psyche and your family and they bring the problem to the surface."
