Selina Jen's music label demands explanation for accident
Taiwan trio S.H.E's music label HiM International Music has issued a formal request Tuesday for Hunan Television to release results of their investigation on the filming accident which left band member Selina Jen with serious burns, reported Taiwan media.
"Ten days after the incident, we would like Hunan Television, who invited us to participate in this drama ("I Have A Date With Spring") to quickly release the results of their investigation as they have promised, by this week," said a statement from HiM.
"[This is] to clarify the cause of this accident and where the responsibility lies as well as protect the interests of the two injured artistes and compensate them."
A spokesperson for the production crew working on "I Have A Date With Spring" told reporters she had already "verbally explained" the details to HiM representatives on Sunday, but a written report on the accident can only be release "once it has been studied by Hunan Television and its partner".
While the media companies play the blame game, Jen, 29, is out of danger and recovering at the hospital.
Meanwhile, her S.H.E group mate Hebe Tien has gone on tour to promote her new solo album and Ella Chen revealed on her micro-blog account that she will be heading to the United States to study.
"I will be going to the US to become a student. Selina, please don't worry and recuperate. I will return safely," wrote Chen, who also posted a photo of herself smiling and surrounded by luggage.
Chen had apparently been rather morose after Jen's filming accident. Her lighthearted tone also suggested that all was well with Jen and that she is recovering nicely.
