Although she's left the show after last season, Paula Abdul came back to 'American Idol' to say farewell to Simon Cowell.She joked a bit at the beginning, claiming the real reason she didn't return as judge was a surprised pregnancy. "There's a baby backstage with Simon's haircut, and baby, it's your turn to feed him," she quipped to Cowell.
But, she did have a few affectionate words for the surly British judge. "Look Simon, my darling Simon, I've worked with a lot of people over the years ... but, if I'm being truly honest, none of them holds a candle to you, my friend."
