Show Luo in the midst of discussing a “Part two” concert in Singapore
The Taiwanese superstar was in Singapore over the weekend for his one-night only 3D World Live Tour held last Saturday
One night in Singapore isn't enough for Show Luo.
After a successful showing of the Singapore leg of Show's 3D World Live tour last Saturday, his management company held a press conference and a mini farewell party for fans before the superstar's flight on Tuesday.
Working with Singapore Changi Airport, the event was held at the Aviation Gallery. More than 100 lucky fans were allowed into the function and managed to catch a close-up of their favourite idol.
In an interview with xinmsn, the Taiwanese artiste said that this should be the first time any celebrity has held a farewell party in Changi airport.
"I have never held such an event in other countries, I feel that it's quite special," he said.
During his sellout concert on Saturday night, Show expressed his hopes of holding a "Part two concert" in Singapore and sought the help of concertgoers to spread the word amongst their friends. The 30-year-old shared that his company originally wanted to hold two sessions in Singapore, but he requested for them to reduce it to one instead.
"If you were to hold two sessions, wouldn't you feel very embarrassed if the second concert is not a sellout? Going by my character, I would prefer to hold the concert one by one, just like in Hong Kong and Taiwan. If it is a sold-out event, I'll hold a second show. That way, I would feel more reassured," Show confessed.
The actor-singer-host commented that "the atmosphere was really great" that night. He felt really happy to see his passionate fans and is currently in the midst of discussing a Part 2 concert. Although nothing has yet to be confirmed, he hopes to throw an encore concert in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.
Worried that fans might "be sick of him", he imitated his diehard fans' expression during the press conference for hilarity's sake. His comical impersonation was met with a resounding "No! [We won't get sick of it!]" from fans present.
During the electrifying concert on Saturday night, Show Luo displayed versatility when he had a short drumming and piano-playing interlude. He was supposed to play the violin as well but felt relieved when the violin's string snapped instead.
The cheeky one chortled, "Good job done on the snapping!" and revealed that he only attended five lessons and "is unprofessional" at it.
"I better not torture everyone's ears," he joked.
