Russell Brand and his fiancée Katy Perry revelled in the limelight last night at the premiere of his first leading role in a feature film.
The couple glided hand in hand down the red carpet for Get Him To The Greek in slightly offbeat style, as one might expect, with a metallic theme to their outfits.
Katy wore a silver dress slashes to the high with purple stilettos and Brand was dressed all in white with shirt unbuttoned to the navel and gold winklepickers.
Brand, 35 next week, is reprising his role from Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but Katy seemed more excited than her fiancé at the Greek Theatre in LA.
Completing her look with a pair of lilac heels and a Cleopatra-style fringe hairstyle, reminiscent of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction, she said: ‘I do feel like the new Brangelina with his movie coming out. We're going to the premiere and everything is happening at the same time.
‘It is somewhat of a blessing because if one of us wasn't working, we'd get annoyed with each other.'
Other guests at the event included Brand's co-stars Jonah Hill, Leslie Mann (who is married to director Judd Apatow) and Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who was accompanied by his mother Janice.
Also present were High School Musical couple Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron.
Vanessa, 21, covered up with a cropped leather goose jacket over a floral print mini-dress teamed with black patent heels, while her boyfriend also wore a jacket over a black v-neck T-shirt, jeans and Converse trainers.
Brand's performance as rock star Aldous Snow in Sarah Marhall that this movie was written specifically for him.
Hill plays a record company intern who is hired by Diddy to accompany the out-of-control singer from London back to a concert at LA’s Greek Theatre.
A rollercoaster of adventures result in some allegedly hilarious moments.
Meanwhile, at the premiere of his new movie Brand admitted to having a threesome the day before his first date with his current fiancée.
He revealed to MTV News: 'It was two women for the sake of efficiency. It's nice to have sex with loads and loads of people.
'But my life has changed. I have not cheated on Katy. I have not got off with other birds.'
Then, asked about being apart from her whilst shooting the movie Brand, said: 'It's not as good, because you're away from your actual girlfriend and you can't have sex with all the people out there.'
Earlier this week Brand played a gig with Libertines star Carl Barat, who wrote some of the songs for the new film.
Brand paid tribute to Barat early on in the evening at the gig, which took place at Los Angeles venue The Roxy.
He said: 'In this film I play Aldous Snow, a fictional rockstar. Yes, you heard it right, fictional! Created from my own opiate-addled past.
'Let's hear it for opiates! But I was helped also by real rock stars, some of whom are here tonight.'
Brand then introduced Barat by saying: 'I'm about to give you the greatest rock star our country has produced in the last 20 years.'
Barat played a short solo set, which comprised of new solo material alongside The Libertines' Time For Heroes and Dirty Pretty Things, Bang Bang You're Dead.
After Barat's set Brand's fictional band from the film, Infant Sorrow, took to the stage.
They played a set of material written for the soundtrack by musicians including Barat and Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker.
