Sandra Bulllock is planning to take a break from acting to focus on raising her adopted son following her split from cheating husband Jesse James.The actress — who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of an adoptive mom in the inspirational film The Blind Side — walked out on the TV mechanic after a tabloid cheating scandal made headlines in March.
She has filed for divorce and is planning to care for the former couple’s son Louis, who was adopted in January, on her own.
For Sandra, being a good mom means leaving the Hollywood limelight for a quiet existence with the new leading man in her life: “All I know is that I want to be able to enjoy being a mom. Doing all the things moms get to do, outside in the sun, in the world. The career will have to wait for a bit. I don’t want to step into that world until I can find out what room I left my armour in. You need tough skin to be in this business. I don’t have tough skin right now and I don’t want it.”
