It may be one of the most unusual pairings in showbiz history.
But it appears Lindsay Lohan and Danny Cipriani are enjoying each other's company a great deal after they were spotted going on two dates in just 48 hours.
The couple were first spotted together as they left Los Angeles nightclub The Tea Room on Thursday night.
Then rugby player Cipriani, who recently split from British model Kelly Brook, was spotted entering Lindsay's apartment at around 4am just 24 hours after their first date.
And it seems both Lohan, 24, and Cipriani, 22, are making the most of each other's company.
A source told the Sunday People: 'He's really fallen for Lindsay. Maybe it's a bit of a rebound thing from Kelly but Danny can't get enough of his new girl.'
Cipriani arrived in Los Angeles last week for the second time in a month to train with American football players in a bid to improve his footwork.
He originally met Lohan during his first visit to California in early June, when he visited with Kelly during their 'make or break' holiday.
The pair were introduced at a Hollywood party to watch the England-USA World Cup game on June 12, where they swapped numbers.
However, Kelly, who is currently enjoying a relaxing holiday in Barbados, is said to be less than impressed with the sportsman's new relationship.
The source added: 'Kelly is a bit worried and saying Danny's still only a boy really.
'Kelly has got her own thing going on with new people in her life but obviously has nothing against Danny since her split.'
