Christina Aguilera helped celebrate the 70th birthday of Beatles legend John Lennon by taking the stage at a benefit for the Montblanc Education Initiative, a program providing access to music education for children.
Wearing a classic Dolce & Gabbana dress, the 29-year-old singer offered up a tribute to Lennon with her own rendition of “Imagine” at New York City’s Lincoln Center on Sunday.
The event — hosted by actress Susan Sarandon — featured the unveiling of the special John Lennon Montblanc pen. The pen is encrusted with diamonds and sapphires and has the word “Imagine” emblazoned in white gold. It boasts a retail value of $27,000.
