Jennifer Love Hewitt straps on her lucite heels for a turn as a sex worker in the new Lifetime Original Movie, The Client List, premiering tonight @ 9PM.
The racy role could be the last on-screen sauciness we see from Hewitt for a while. The busty stunner has promised to take on more wholesome roles in the future after her mother voiced concern over her recent provocative projects.
The former Ghost Whisperer star has spent the last few months promoting her love and dating book, The Day I Shot Cupid, in which she talks about “vajazzling” — decorating her vagina with stick-on crystals — to spice up a relationship. Tonight’s made-for-TV drama sees a recently laid-off married mom (Jennifer Love Hewitt) falling into the world of prostitution when she takes a new role at a massage parlor in small town Texas.
It’s all become a bit much for Jenn’s mom. She hopes her famous daughter will choose more family-friendly jobs to tackle next.
Jenn explains: “She was very supportive. But then a week ago she was like, ‘So, let’s review the last year, shall we?’ For 15 years people have been talking about your boobs in the press. You wrote about your woo-ha in a book and now you’re playing a crack-ho on TV.’ I was like, ‘Yeah…’ So she was like, ‘Can we do an animated move next? Can you play Cinderella on Broadway or something?’ I was like, ‘OK, I’ll clean it up, right after this one, I promise!’”
