As a member of popular girl group S.H.E, her status as an idol stands as an obstacle to her dream of marriage.
However, now that her romance with lawyer Richard Chang is no longer a secret - the latter openly declared his love for her during a concert - Selina is one step closer to becoming a missus.
In an interview after S.H.E's concert in Macau, Selina revealed that she hopes to have an unforgettable grand wedding and she is still working towards her goal.
"My dream to plan my wedding hasn't change yet; I'm working towards my goal now."
When asked about the recent rumours that Ella Chen's rumoured beau, Tommy Zhao, has been cheating on her, Selina immediately changed her tone to a sombre one.
"I do not wish to discuss personal issues openly."
Taiwanese reporters recently found an old picture, taken last year, of Tommy and Ella. The two were at a seminar and were seated one seat away from each other, with Selina's father seated in the middle.
While S.H.E refuses to comment, the move of sitting separately to avoid appearing conspicuous just became new fodder for suspicion of Ella and Tommy's relationship.
