Lindsay Lohan's Reaction to Jail: EEEKS!
With jail just hours away and her attorney reportedly quitting, Lindsay Lohan appeared to be trying to come to terms Monday night with her plight.
"The only 'bookings' that i'm familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that i'd be 'booking' into Jail... eeeks," she wrote on her Twitter page.
The post came after her attorney Robert Shapiro, who had taken on her case unofficially on the condition she followed the judge's orders and reported to jail, stepped away on the same day he met with the judge, TMZ.com reports.
It was not immediately clear who would be representing Lohan at her Tuesday morning hearing in Beverly Hills Superior Court where she is ordered to surrender.
Although he has been assisting her, Shapiro never formally became her attorney. Technically, her lawyer is still Shawn Chapman Holley, who parted ways with Lohan after the actress's sentencing but never signed the papers removing herself as attorney of record.
Lohan, 24, was sentenced to 90 days in a women's jail for violating probation in a DUI case, but likely will serve only a fraction of that due to overcrowding. She had entered a sober living facility with ties to Shapiro; her assistant was seen removing her belongings earlier Monday.
