Shivering Lady Gaga braves the snow in a flimsy ball gown... but a coat might have been better
Her outrageous outfits have helped make Lady Gaga a global superstar.
But while her dress to shock attitude has won her legions of fans, it isn't as useful when it comes to keeping warm.
The singer visibly shivered as she braved the snowy weather in New York in nothing more than a flimsy ballgown yesterday.
As snow drifted down around her, Lady Gaga crossed her arms over her chest against the cold.
The 23-year-old didn't even have underwear to keep her warm - instead of a bra she wore crosses of tape on her breasts.
With her feet squeezed into black court shoes, she held the ruffles of her chiffon dress out of the way.
The Poker Face singer was arriving for an appearance on Good Morning America, where she was a guest alongside Cyndi Lauper.
The pair were promoting MAC cosmetics' Viva Glam campaign to help women battle HIV and AIDS.
Lady Gaga said she was thrilled to be joining her pop idol to launch lipsticks named after each of the women, the proceeds of which will go to fighting the disease.
'We're raising the VIVA GLAM bar this year with the voices of two incredible artists,' said fund spokesman John Demsey.
'Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper are bringing women's issues to the forefront of the HIV/AIDS crisis.'
The scheme has already raised more than $150million to combat the disease and focuses on hot spots around the world, from South Africa to the rural southern United States.
