Wolfman, Percy Jackson, Valentine’s Day Vie for #1

This week America will be lining up outside of theaters to see 3 films. Releasing in theaters this week is a popular horror figure, a son of a famous Greek god and a romantic comedy that focuses on 10 couples. Will Dear John (last’s week #1 film) and Avatar (#2) hold their respective positions on the Box Office? Or will they get lost in the shuffle? Here’s their competition:
This hype for The Wolfman has been “howling” with positive reviews from early screenings. In the release of the 2010 film Universal and Director Joe Johnson trace back the origins of one of horror’s greatest figures. Rounding out Wolfman is the cast leading man Benicio Del Toro, veteran Anthony Hopkins (Silence Of The Lambs) and beauty Emily Blunt.
Logan Lerman budding only career just got bigger, the young actor will be leading man in the Fantasy/Adventure Percy Jackson & the Olympians: Lightning Thief. In the nearly 2 hour film, Percy Jackson has quite a heavy task ahead of him. Not only does have to rescue his mother, but Jackson also must return the lightning to Greek God Zeus before an all out war emerges.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day is of course the romantic comedy Valentine’s Day . It’s no doubt, couples will be cuddled up in theater seats watching the 2010 comedy film. Valentine’s Day features an all star cast including Jessica Alba , Queen Latifah , Jamie Foxx, Taylor Launter, Julia Roberts, Taylor Launter, Taylor Swift, Kathy Bates, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher-that’s pretty much everyone in Hollywood, no?
